C&C appreciated :D

So what do you think, anatomy wise, is she good? I realise she looks a little big on top but I wanted her kind of more toned than most. I didn't put anything on the surfboard because I wanted to put it on when Im colouring it, which is almost done :D
So..

She looks tough. I like the details (piercings, tatoo, hair-do) and the carefree pose. I think a little more neck could be nice. It seems that her head needs to be a smidgen bigger. I hope this is useful and I can't wait to see the finished version.

Thank you :) My mam HATES the piercings lol. I love them, wish I had the guts to get them myself lol :P
Thank you though :) And I never even thought of the neck - good call :)

I love the hair and anatomy. I think thinning the neck would help a little. It keeps her feminine, but she still looks muscular. I don't think toned is the right word to describe her. A toned person has a very solid body, but you don't often see muscles. Mostly, I'm seeing the muscles in her abs. If you were to tone her, I would smooth some of the lines. So, she'll still have a bit of a tummy, but it'll be smooth like the rest of the body.

One thing I hate is a womans abs, I can't colour them, same with a guys I suppose, but I don't think it's came up before lol(It's a shading/highlighting issue). Its too hard, even with reference. >.<
But thank you :) I will definitely try to do that to her stomach while colouring, and on her neck, I suppose it can't hurt, but it might make her shoulders look even bigger than they already are :P

Well, give it a try, and if it doesn't work, than I guess you could try something. Art is all about learning, no? Oh, but I do agree, abs are hard to do!

wow she looks like one real tough cookie i like it ;) the only things kinda buggin me is the height of the shoulders unless thats intentional as part of the pose :S im not sure and one of the shoulders is slightly off I tend to cheat on shoulders and use a ruler to makke sure they are level or on a correct angle dont no if it will work for you but its a tip :D cant wait to see the coloured version

She definitely looks tough and I'd venture to say manly... but I think the anatomy does look a little off. The thing to remember is that women have smaller bone structures than men do, and if they train a lot, those muscles can only bulk them out so far.

Specific to your drawing, I'd also say that her rib cage looks thick in comparison to her waist that is a bit too thin, in my opinion. The hips look fine, though they may be just a little small for her body.

Overall I'd say you've got the semblance of everything in place, but it needs just a little bit more fine tuning. :D

Hope that helped a little...

Forgot to add... could you maybe darken up the surf board or add in a design or something? When I first saw this I thought it was unfinished cuz I couldn't see the board. ^^; Then I looked closer and went "ok it's there, just really really faint." :D

Good start so far! :) There's a lot I like about this gal! You have a crisp understanding of the hair, I do enjoy how it flows in the wind. I think giving her less of a bust but also narrowing her shoulders would help; I just don't know if they're proportionally accurate even as a toned gal. :XD: Or perhaps making her have less of an hour glass figure with her waist would give aid to her broad shoulders? :3 She's very beautiful though. :meow:
